Virginia’s national champion 4-H livestock judging squad, which features a local teen, received their due praise yesterday in Richmond.

Speaking on the Senate floor, Shenandoah County Senator Timmy French introduced the team that includes Rockingham County’s very own Sarah Craun.

The senator said the success of these young men and women was no accident.

In June, Craun and her teammates from Clarke, Frederick and Wythe counties will represent the United States at livestock competitions in Scotland and Ireland.
