FISHERSVILLE, Va – A scary situation at Augusta Health on Monday when a transformer on the main campus stopped functioning, which resulted in a power outage at the hospital.

According to a press release, the transformer went out at around noon and power was out for over an hour a half.

By 1:45 pm, the hospital was back up and operating with full power and equipment. Services were phased in over the next few hours and emergency room was on diversion until about three o’clock.
