AUGUSTA COUNTY VA:  (WSVA) – Virginia State Police is asking for help identifying a man who was killed in a hit-and-run in Augusta County Sunday morning.
In a release, spokesperson Corrine Geller said that troopers responded around four o’clock to reports of a hit-and-run involving a pedestrian along I-81 southbound, near mile marker 210. A middle-aged white man died at the scene.
According to Geller, the man had no identification. He has a tattoo on his right leg, and was wearing a black hoodie with the word “Missouri” on it, along with white Nike sneakers.
Any witnesses or anyone with information is asked to contact State Police.
A 26-year-old in Fishersville was arrested yesterday in connection with the incident on counts of hit-and-run and involuntary manslaughter.
