FISHERSVILLE, Va. — The Augusta County Sheriff’s Office says two people were arrested yesterday after authorities said they stole cash from another person at a Fishersville A-T-M.

In a release, Sheriff’s Lieutenant Leslie Snyder said that deputies responded to a report of a robbery at an undisclosed location just after noon, where the victim said a masked man had taken 280 dollars from them.

Later, Snyder said deputies spotted a vehicle that matched the description provided for them headed eastbound on I-64. The vehicle exited at Fishersville, and deputies stopped it on Tinkling Springs Road near Goose Creek.
