LURAY, Va. — Investigators with the Page County Sheriff’s Office continue the search for a person of interest in a suspected homicide late last week.

In a weekend release, Sheriff Chad Cubbage said that his department is seeking 55-year-old Timothy Thomas Comer, who they believe was involved in the death of 69-year-old Gregory Lee Williams on Thursday in Elkton.

Williams was found dead of a gunshot wound on his property on Jollett Road just after 5 o’clock that night.

Cubbage said that the investigation is very active, and Comer should be considered armed and dangerous.
