HARRISONBURG, Va. – A new state program is online that’s intended to help Virginia’s students recover academically from the COVID-19 pandemic.

In an email yesterday, Rockingham County delegate Tony Wilt encouraged families to enroll in the K-12 Learning Acceleration Grant Program.

The initiative, which went live just last week, offers up to 15-hundred dollars to help parents pay for tutoring and educational support for their kids. Families whose incomes are 300 percent or more below the federal poverty line are eligible for 3-thousand dollars in tutoring help.
