The Rockingham County School Board will have some new faces on it.

One of those is Sara Horst, who defeated incumbent Charlotte McQuilken to win the District 4 seat with 66 percent of the vote.

Horst said afterwards that the first thing she wants to do is make schools safer.

Other winners on the Rockingham County School board were Ashley Burgoyne and Hollie Cave.
