ARRINGTON, Va – A Nelson County man is facing charges after authorities say he sent nude images to a minor in another state.

Nelson County Sheriff David Hill said that deputies served a search warrant Thursday morning at a home on Tye River Road following a tip alleging the illegal activity.

Investigators recovered evidence from the home and charged Stephen Elliot Blumberg of Arrington with display of child porn or grooming materials to a minor, as well as using communications systems to facilitate certain offenses involving a child.

He was also charged with possession of a firearm by a felon.

Blumberg was held without bond at Albemarle Charlottesville Regional Jail.
