LURAY, Va – A Luray man will spend four years in jail for videotaping a woman without her consent in Shenandoah National Park.

Luray Police Chief Bow Cook reported in a news release that his department along with Shenandoah National Park Police started investigating the allegations last summer and that led to the arrest David Howard Wright the Second.

The 51-year-old Wright pleaded guilty to two dozen charges related to the incident Wednesday in Page County Circuit Court.

Those charges include knowingly and intentionally video tape another when that person was totally nude (14 charges) and maliciously disseminate a video or still image that depicts another person who is totally nude. (10 charges)

A judge then sentenced him 24 years in prison with 20 of those years suspended. He was also sentenced to two years of active probation upon his release.
