Opportunity knocks for Valley college students envisioning a career in law enforcement.

The Virginia Sheriff’s Institute is announcing that an application period for a scholarship is opening by the end of the month. It will be open to anyone over 18 attending a Virginia college or university, whether    full-time or part-time. Applicants must be criminal justice majors, and they must be registered to vote in the commonwealth.
