INDIANAPOLIS — No. 14 seed James Madison women’s basketball will face No. 3 seed Ohio State on Saturday, March 18 at 1:30 p.m. ET inside the Schottenstein Center in Columbus, Ohio, announced the NCAA on Monday morning.
Saturday’s game will mark the Dukes’ fourth time playing the Buckeyes in Columbus, Ohio. The teams first met in the state’s capital in 1989 for the Second Round of the NCAA Tournament. OSU powered past JMU for an 81-66 victory.
The two programs last faced each other in the 2015 NCAA Tournament. That year, No. 12 seed JMU fell to No. 5 seed OSU, 90-80, in Chapel Hill, N.C. on March 21. Precious Hall dropped in 28 points and grabbed seven rebounds, while Ashley Perez produced 20 points and seven boards in the loss.
