HARRISONBURG, Va. — The streets of downtown Harrisonburg will be lined with red, white and blue this Sunday as the Friendly City’s Veteran’s Day parade returns for another year.
Harrisonburg Downtown Renaissance, which organizes the parade, says that floats, classic cars and other entries will begin staging at the Rockingham County Administration Center on East Gay Street at 2:15 Sunday afternoon.
The parade will start promptly at 3 o’clock, marching south along Main Street until it reaches City Hall.
Drivers should note that some parts of downtown will be closed to vehicle traffic until 5 o’clock as the parade goes by.
