HARRISONBURG, Va – (WSVA) – The case of the man charged in connection with a shooting in Harrisonburg 16 months ago continues to make its way through the court.

According to online records, a Rockingham County Circuit Court grand jury returned six indictments against Tyreaf Isaiah Fleming during a hearing this afternoon.

Among the charges the 21-year-old Fleming faces, include attempted first-degree murder and two counts of malicious assault.

It is all in connection to an incident where shots were fired into a crowd at an outdoor gathering on Devon Lane shortly before 2:30 in the morning of October 16th of 2022.

Eight people were hospitalized following the violence.

Fleming will be back in court on March 18th for a hearing to set either a plea date or a trial date.
