An exodus of sorts is occurring in Virginia. I-R-S income tax records show more people have moved out of the state than have moved in every year since 2013.
That’s the message Governor Glenn Youngkin is taking to the national media as he pushes additional tax breaks this year.
Speaking to Fox Business on Sunday, the governor said he’s tired of watching populations grow in states south of the commonwealth. He reiterated a desire to cut individual and corporate tax rates to entice more people to become Virginians.
Meanwhile, West Virginia saw a net in-migration of two-thousand residents last year.
