Records: EMU 10-16-1, 3-10 ODAC | Lynchburg 18-13, 7-6 ODAC
WP: Emily Charlton (7-5)
LP: Rogers (0-1)

Highlights
• The Royals picked up their first hit, a single from Madi Armentrout, in the first, but couldn’t push a run across. Lynchburg was able to take a 1-0 lead off an RBI double in their half of the first off Rogers, who was getting her first start of the season.

• EMU tied things up in the top of the third when Armentrout singled and came in to score on Hensley’s RBI double. But three singles and a triple from Lynchburg gave them the lead back in the third as they plated three runs. They added two more in the fourth, taking a 6-1 lead.

• The Royals chipped away at the Hornets lead in the fifth as Emerson Adkins and Rogers picked up back-to-back singles and Adkins scored on Armentrout’s RBI. Fravel’s sac fly plated Rogers and Becca Boone singled in Armentrout, to make the score 6-4. The Hornets, however, would add five runs in their half of the fifth to take an 11-4 lead. A single from Adkins in the sixth would be all EMU would pick up before the Hornets walked it off with an RBI double in the bottom of the sixth.

Statistical Leaders
Armentrout: 3-3, RBI, 2 R
Adkins: 2-3, R
