LURAY, VA – Page County Sheriff Chad Cubbage says his office has been working for several months on securing funding for a body worn camera system.

Cubbage stated In a post on the department’s Facebook page that his office, pursuant to state law, has established a written policy for the operation of such a system that is available to be reviewed prior to its adoption and implementation.
The policy was drafted from a Department of Criminal Justice Services Model Policy and will be available for the next 10 days for public review, Monday through Friday 8:00am – 4:00pm, until August 1, 2023 at the Page County Sheriff’s Office Administrative Building.
The policy will be adopted on August 2, 2023.
