PENN LAIRD, Va – (WSVS) Rockingham County Sheriff Bryan Hutcheson has confirmed that the treasurer of the Cub Run Elementary School Parent Teacher Association has been arrested for alleged embezzlement.

Hutcheson stated in an email that Elizabeth Nicole Taylor was charged with one count of felony embezzlement and released on a personal recognizance bond.

Hutcheson added that Taylor has a court appearance on Monday in General District Court to appoint a lawyer.

Cub Run Principal Sharon Martz sent out a statement this afternoon to parents.
