Classes at Harrisonburg High School are scheduled to resume today after they were cancelled for most of yesterday because of an alleged bomb threat.
City Communications Director Mike Parks reports that at around 10:15 this morning, the school received a phone call alleging that a bomb had been placed inside the school.
Parks added that nothing was found and just before two o’clock, the all-clear was given and staff were allowed to return to the school and roads were reopened to regular traffic.
He added that the investigation into the cause of the threat is ongoing.
