Tis the season for area localities to roll out their budgets for the next fiscal year.

Harrisonburg City Council was expected to hear a presentation on the proposed Fiscal Year 2023-24 budget at Tuesday’s meeting.

Meanwhile, the Augusta County Board of Supervisors is scheduled to have a public hearing during its regular meeting tonight night to talk about the proposed budget.

One of the items that will probably be discussed is the issue of body and dash cameras for the Augusta County Sheriff’s Office.
