VERONA, Va – The empty seat on the Augusta County Board of Supervisors was filled Wednesday evening.
Chairman Michael Shull nominated Carolyn Bragg, who was then selected unanimously following the interviewing process with two other candidates.
Bragg, who is actually a native of Rockingham County, told the board during the interview that she has experience and is ready to hit the ground running.
Bragg will fill out the term of Steve Morelli, who resigned last month.
Bragg said she intends to run for the seat full-time in the November election.
