CRAIGSVILLE, Va – The Town of Craigsville, under the guidance of the Virginia Health Department, has issued a boil water notice effective immediately.

According to a post on the Augusta County website, the boil water notice includes the Estaline Valley area.

The Town Hall building in Craigsville will have cases of water available at eight o’clock tomorrow morning.

A water outage that began Wednesday morning forced students and staff at Craigsville Elementary School to use the restrooms at the nearby volunteer fire department until portable toilets could arrive.

Crews continue to work on the water problem, but it is not when it will be fixed.
