VERONA, Va. – Augusta County is considering raising taxes for the purchase of officer-worn body cameras.

In a Friday announcement, the county said a public survey is now open asking the community for feedback. 

The full recommended budget for the upcoming fiscal year is available within that same survey.  

 The public hearing for the budget that includes the proposed tax hike will be held April 12th at 7pm during a Board of Supervisors meeting in the Augusta County Government Center.
