AUGSUTA COUNTY, Va (WSVA) – Augusta County authorities have made an arrest in connection with numerous check frauds in the county.

Sheriff’s Lieutenant Leslie Snyder reports that 40-year-old Anthony Dean Davis of Lyndhurst was apprehended yesterday on several charges, including two felony counts of identity fraud and four felony counts of forgery.

Snyder added that Davis also was served on multiple outstanding warrants of a similar nature from other jurisdictions and is currently being held without bond at Middle River Regional Jail.
