James Madison junior outside hitter Kennedy Louisell was named the Sun Belt Conference Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week on Tuesday morning.

Former James Madison outfielder Chase DeLauter has been named to the Cleveland Guardians’ 2025 American League Wild Card Series roster, the club announced Tuesday morning. Game one of the best-of-three series begins later today at 1 p.m., as third-seeded Cleveland hosts sixth-seeded Detroit.

James Madison linebacker Trent Hendrick was selected as the Sun Belt Conference Defensive Player of the Week while safety Curtis Harris-Lopez was voted Special Teams Player of the Week following their respective performances in the Dukes’ 35-10 victory over Georgia Southern last Saturday.

The Bridgewater College men’s golf ‘B Team’ went on the road Monday to compete at the Stevenson Fall Invitational at Piney Branch Golf Club. For the first time in program history, the men’s program this year becomes the first team to win back-to-back tournaments after also winning at the Kinder Williams Invitational on Sept. 16.

James Madison’s home matchup with Louisiana on Saturday, Oct. 11 will be nationally televised, as the game will kick off at noon from Bridgeforth Stadium on ESPN2, as announced by ESPN and the Sun Belt Conference.
