Cubbage reported on the department’s Facebook page that the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner confirmed yesterday that the remains were positively identified as Joshua Dee Bradford.

Chief Jeremy Holloway reports that the call came in shortly after 2 p.m. Tuesday afternoon in the 9,300 block of Red Top Court.

Sergeant Brent Coffey stated in an email to Rocktown Now that State Police investigators are looking into the town’s financial situation but had no further information.

Most of the funds will be allocated towards the centennial Furious Flower conference, scheduled for September.

The goal is to identify the healthcare needs in areas that face barriers when accessing care, as well as to build the relationship between the local health district and local health providers with rural populations.

An investigation determined that the call came from a prison in Clio, Alabama.
