The Basketball Tournament (TBT), the $1 million winner-take-all competition, announced today that James Madison University will serve as one of the regional locations for the 2025 event, hosted at the Atlantic Union Bank Center. Founding Fathers, the James Madison alumni team, will host as the featured team in the eight-team James Madison Regional.
The 2025 Sun Belt Football Championship Game will move to Friday, Dec. 5, and will be nationally televised on ESPN, the conference joins ESPN in announcing on Thursday.

James Madison Head Coach Christy Morgan has announced the 2025 schedule, featuring five teams that competed in the 2024 NCAA Field Hockey Championship.
The NCAA Division III baseball All-Region honorees were announced Tuesday from D3baseball.com and Bridgewater’s Nick Stavros and Zack Chadwell both earned All-Region recognition.
