James Madison running back added to his postseason accolades on Monday, as he was named a 2025 Associated Press Second Team All-American all-purpose player.
James Madison and No. 19 Notre Dame played even for the final three quarters (53-53), however, the Fighting Irish finished the first quarter ahead 25-12 and held on to the lead for a 78-65 victory on Sunday afternoon in front of 4,211 fans – the second-largest crowd ever for a women’s basketball game at the Atlantic Union Bank Center.

James Madison running back Wayne Knight and right tackle Pat McMurtrie have been recognized as Touchdown Club of Richmond Players of the Year, as Knight was named Running Back of the Year and McMurtrie took home Offensive Lineman of the Year.
