The James Madison women’s golf team saw five players finish inside the top-25, finishing as co-champions at the Elon Invitational on Tuesday afternoon.
The Bridgewater College men’s golf team secured the Kinder-Williams tournament title for head coach Nick Schlickenrieder’s first win as Bridgewater head coach and behind sophomore Walker Gillespie’s tournament individual title with a –7 (137) at Lakeview Golf Course Tuesday.

James Madison’s Family Weekend matchup against Georgia Southern on Saturday, Sept. 27 will kick off at 1:30 p.m. at Bridgeforth Stadium and will be streamed live on ESPN+, as announced by ESPN and the Sun Belt Conference.
James Madison rallied from a 2-0 deficit to upend Ball State volleyball 21-25, 19-25, 27-25, 25-14, 15-9 on Sunday afternoon at Al McGuire Arena.
James Madison field hockey was tied 1-1 with No. 3 Virginia heading into the fourth quarter, however, the Cavaliers scored three goals on penalty corners in the final frame for the 4-1 home victory at Turf Field on Sunday afternoon.
In a Revolutionary War rematch, the Royals and the Presidents met once again, albeit this time on the field hockey field, as EMU and Washington & Jefferson squared off in a Sunday showdown.
