First Harrisonburg High School Varsity football game of season postponed

According to a social media post from Harrisonburg High School Sports and Activities, forecasted storms and heavy rainfall Thursday evening prompted school athletic officials to push the game back to next Friday, Aug. 30, at 7:00 p.m.

Northern Virginia man sentenced to 10 years for stealing Harrisonburg mobile home
