Board of Supervisors grants permit to proposed event space near Massanutten Resort

The project, which would also include a craft brewery and restaurant, was tabled at the Board’s meeting earlier this month after residents near the proposed site on Resort Drive spoke against it. County staff also voiced concerns about a lack of access for emergency vehicles on site.

Harrisonburg man accused of non-fatal shooting to face grand jury

According to online records, Alexander Ramos Perez waived his right to a preliminary hearing Wednesday morning. A judge then certified three felony charges, including malicious wounding, to a circuit court grand jury.
