DALLAS (JMU Athletics) – James Madison senior Joe Vogatsky was among the 59 relief pitchers that were named to the Midseason Stopper of the Year Watch List, as announced Wednesday afternoon by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association.

Vogatsky is one of six relievers to represent the Sun Belt Conference on the midseason list.

The Warrenton, Va. native has made 15 appearances out of the bullpen, logging a 3.42 ERA to go along with a 3-1 record and six saves. He has pitched 26.1 innings, striking out 30 batters. His six saves are tied for eighth in single-season history at JMU while his 11 career saves are tied with Nick Robertson (2017-19) for fifth all-time in the purple and gold.
