MONTPELLIER, France (JMU Athletics) – Former James Madison Women’s Basketball player Kseniia Kozlova will suit up for Basket Lattes Montpellier Association (BLMA) of the La Boulangère Wonderligue (LWBL) for the 2025-26 season, the club announced.
The 2025 All-Sun Belt Conference First Team selection wrapped up her JMU career averaging 11.6 points and 6.6 rebounds per game, while shooting 54.2 percent from the field.
Kozlova played a key role in the Dukes’ 2024-25 campaign, finishing second on the team in scoring (12.5 ppg) and third in rebounding (7.4 rpg). The Moscow, Russia native recorded 28 double-digit scoring outings and three games with 20-plus points to help JMU achieve a program-best 30 wins. Kozlova also registered nine double-doubles, including double-double performances at No. 6 Notre Dame (14 points, 11 rebounds) and No. 19 NC State (15 points, 13 rebounds).
The center accumulated 1,157 points in her career between stops at Middle Tennessee (2020-2022) and James Madison (2022-2025). Kozlova became the 34th Duke to reach 1,000 points in their JMU career with a 12-point effort in a thrilling 78-74 victory over Ball State on Feb. 8.
In 2020-21, Basket Lattes won the Coup de France for the fifth time in club history, while the team finished runner-up in the EuroCup Women during the 2018-19 season. The team has featured WNBA talent in recent years, including two-time Olympic medalist and NCAA Champion Gabby Williams and 2023 All-Star Cheyenne Parker-Tyus.
