How It Happened
• Washington and Lee opened the game on the attack with multiple shots including a strike on target by in the 8th minute that was turned away by Rylee Asiello but the rebound went right out into play and Sarah Zimmerman buried the shot to take a 1-0 lead.
• WLU kept pushing as Zimmerman and Burke combined and found Ann Huber for a score in the 17th minute to make it 2-0 in the first half. The Generals kept pushing and the Eagles finally got some offense going as Hannah England had a shot blocked for a corner kick and Lucy Larson missed a chance on the kick wide.
• The Generals kept pushing, but a save by Asiello kept BC in striking distance. BC flipped the field and Lyric Birkley registered a shot on goal, but it was scooped up by Abby Groff.
• Birkley continued to be the Eagles source of offense as she fired another shot on goal in the 74th minute that was saved. The Eagles had another chance late as Katherine King rifled a shot wide and Aliana Ferreira registered a shot on goal that was turned aside to seal the deal.

Match Notes
• Birkley was BC’s source of offense with two shots, both on goal.
• Berman led the Generals attack with 10 shots including two on target. Burke and Zimmerman each registered multi-point efforts in the win.
• Asiello registered six saves in the loss while Groff made three stops in the shutout.
• WLU held a 34-6 edge in shots, but just an 8-3 advantage in shots on goal.
