FOREST, Va. (BC Athletics) – Rylee Asiello of the Bridgewater College women’s soccer team has been named the ODAC Defensive Player of the Week after her performance in the Eagles’ 2-1 victory over Mary Washington.

The rookie from Chantilly, Va. had an impressive showing in just her second collegiate start on Wednesday as her nine saves set a career high. Asiello’s night in the cage also featured a pair of saves in the game’s final 10 minutes to help BC maintain a one-goal lead.

The Eagles are back in action on Wednesday as they host EMU in the first installment of the Route 42 Rivalry of the 2024-25 academic year.
