HARRISONBURG, Va. (JMU Athletics) – James Madison Head Coach Preston Spradlin announced the eighth member of the 2024 men’s basketball class on Wednesday, as guard Bryce Lindsay signed with the program for the 2024-25 season.
Lindsay, a native of Baltimore, Md., joins the Dukes after spending one season at Texas A&M, where he appeared in eight games.

• Appeared in eight games of the first 12 games for the Aggies as a true freshman
• Scored 14 points with five assists, two steals and one rebound
• Season-high 10 points on 4-of-8 shooting with a pair of threes against DePaul
• Played one season at IMG Academy between high school and TAMU
• Averaged 19.6 points, 3.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists in 2021-22 at St. Frances Academy, leading the Panthers to 35-6 record
• Part of Maryland Class 3A state championship at Baltimore Polytechnic as a freshman
• Former four-start prospect by Rivals.com
Spradlin on Lindsay: “Bryce is another talented player from the DMV who has chosen JMU as his next home. His game is a terrific combination of size and skill to fit perfectly within our offensive system. He can really stretch the floor with his shooting and impact the game with his playmaking ability on ball screens.”
Lindsay is the seventh transfer and eighth overall signee of the incoming JMU class, joining transfers Luke Anderson (Florida Southern), Ebenezer Dowuona (Georgia Tech), Elijah Hutchins-Everett (Seton Hall), Eddie Ricks III (Morehead State), AJ Smith (Southern Indiana) and Justin Taylor (Syracuse) and high school senior Redd Thompson (John Marshall HS).
