AUGUSTA COUNTY, VA (Rocktown Now) – Virginia State Police (VSP) is investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash that occurred Thursday, February 19, 2026, at approximately 6:50 p.m. on Route 612 (Quicks Mill Road), approximately 0.3 miles west of Berry Farm Road (Route 626), in Augusta County.

According to a report from VSP, a white Toyota Camry was traveling eastbound on Quicks Mill Road when it ran off the right side of the roadway, struck a tree, and came to rest in the front yard of a residence in the 700 block of Quicks Mill Road.

The driver, 25-year-old Irfan Ahmad Mawlazoy, of Stafford, was pronounced deceased at the scene by Staunton Augusta Rescue Squad.

The crash remains under investigation.
