HARRISONBURG, Va. (ROCKTOWN NOW) – Rising Americana artist Abby Hamilton is set to take the stage at the Golden Pony on Thursday, June 13.

Born and raised in Nicholasville, KY, Abby Hamilton is making waves in the music industry following the release of her critically acclaimed debut album, #1 Zookeeper (of the San Diego Zoo), on Blue Gown Records. The album, produced by Justin Craig and Duane Lundy, showcases Hamilton’s captivating blend of folk and indie rock, solidifying her position as one of music’s most intriguing new voices.

American Songwriter praises the album as “infectious,” while Holler declares it “one of the most genuinely brilliant and beautiful records” of the year. Wide Open Country proclaims that Hamilton “channels a universal relatability that will aid anyone’s journey of self-discovery and healing.”

Hamilton has opened for artists such as Tyler Childers, Deer Tick, Shakey Graves, Wynonna Judd, Blackberry Smoke, and Kelsey Waldon. She has also graced the stages of major festivals, including Bonnaroo, AmericanaFest, Railbird, and Luck Reunion.

Support will come from Sally Rose (of Charlottesville band Shagwüf) and Georgia Saunders. Doors open at 7:00pm, and the show starts at 8:00pm. This event is 18+ only.
